Nebraska
waterfowl hunting is superb because during
the fall and early winter the geese migrate through our hay fields, lakes,
ponds and grain fields by the thousands. Hundreds of Nebraska native waterfowl
will nest in late evenings in close proximity to the hunting lodge. Warm
hunting blinds and a good set of duck and goose decoys will keep the action
intense.
The goose hunting can take
place in many different settings; over water or grain fields, in hunting blinds
with your guide calling or if you prefer, you can do the calling.
The area is rich with prime waterfowl habitat with
numerous marshes,
lakes, pastures, and grain fields to meet their needs.
As
a result more than just geese frequent the
area during waterfowl season. Some of the more popular ducks in the area
include Mallard Duck, Pintail Duck, Gadwall Duck and Teal Duck.
